In 2007, Tim Rockey and Matt Hamilton created Rockey Shores Productions Inc., and independent production company operating from the North Shores of Vancouver, with offices in Victoria. Our philosophy has always been; Learn Together, Grow Together, Become Successful Together.

In a ‘big business’ industry, often the smaller outfits get lost in the noise. With every project we are always searching for talented and committed individuals to add to and enrich our team of dedicated artists. In 2010, Rockey Shores grew to include director and screenwriter mk Stevens. With the addition of his talents and vision, we pushed our passion and desire to the next level. A massive expansion of our videography department, launched a new name into the realm of social media and networking, digitallySOCiAL. As we continue to move forward, Rockey Shores looks to expand their repertoire into Feature Length Films. We look forward to seeing you connect to our social networks and follow along as we reach for our dreams.

Tim Rockey

Tim is the business counterpart to Matt’s creativity. His extensive background in management, training and education serve him well in his organization and communication both on and off the set. Aside from being a Producer, he has also been doubling as the team’s 1st Assistant Director, organizing everything from pre-production to running the shooting days.

In addition to film, Tim also works as a freelance videographer and editor for local businesses and talent, producing, filming and editing a wide array of training and promotional pieces.

Matt Hamilton

Matt is a screenwriter and actor who has graduated from the Vancouver Film School for Screenwriting and has just completed his Writing degree at the University of Victoria. His first screenplay was a Winner of the prestigious Praxis Fellowship Screenwriting Competition. He has had numerous short scripts and skits optioned and produced. He has also acted in many short films, sketches and a MOW. Matt is currently repped by Kirk Talent Agency.

mkSTEVENS

mkSTEVENS has been involved within the film community for nearly 10 years. His knowledge and experience spans from Special Effects to Production Coordinating. After completing his Industry education with honors, at the Pacific Audio Visual Institute, Michael has contributed most of his time to indie film makers and production houses by assisting with their screenplay re-writes and script formatting.
